This will be my first blog, but before I go into detail I would like to thank my Sponsor "GU" for the excellent support this year. Being part of TEAM GU has helped me step up my performance in this XTERRA Off Road Triathlon season. I would also like to thank the local bike shop here in Fayetteville, "The Bicycle Shop" which has helped me with all of my gear and mechanical needs for the past two seasons. This is only my second year racing full-length XTERRA triathlons as an amateur, and off-road is definately the way to go. I have qualified-for the second year in a row-to go to XTERRA Nationals in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. I am siked for this year although the altitude will be a major factor, since I train in 150 ft. above sea level and the race is 6700-8700 feet above sea level. There is quite a significant difference. I hope my training regimine that has helped me place all season will carry through to Nationals.
