Randomness

In case anyone wanted to know...this weather sucks! Yup, its winter weather again for the next few days and then it will be warm again. Anyway, this will be a quick rant on absolutely nothing important. I don't know why this is but I seem to have a hard time getting to the pool when I take days off work. It is closer to work and it is a real pain in the bleep to get there. There was some maintenance going on at the pool which kept me from swimming for five days and now I just don't care to go. However, I am sure everything will come back around when I start back at work again...in March. Thats right, I took some much deserved time off to do some necessary studying which will ultimately affect my paycheck. The good thing about taking off work is that its easy to sit and study for 6-10 hrs and get plenty of training in, unless its swimming. This week alone I will have probable doubled my time on the bike, which isn't necessarily bad since I have a race in about three weeks. I might hit 200 miles. As far as running, I haven't probably been doing as much as I should but now that I have my new kicks it wont be as difficult. Pearl Izumi (one of my fav. running shoes) just had a clearance sale and you can get the shoes at cost ($45), which is great, so I bought 2 pair:) One road, one off-road. So I guess for lunch I will head out for a run in this winterly weather...after all it is February. PEACE!!!
