New Trail...

I had the privilege of riding a private MTB trail today that left me speechless. It was technical, fast, and just down right awesome. Since living in the "sandhills" of NC it is by far the best trail to date. Unfortunately, it isn't for everyone to enjoy. After all of this rain that we had, we could only ride half of the trail due to the mud factor. I was told the part I rode was half as fun and fast as the other section. Lets just say...I cant wait until it drys up. There are multiple areas with deep bowls that will make you want to brake but you'd better not or you wont make it up the other side. I almost felt like I was in BC somewhere...certainly not in eastern NC...but unfortunately, I was. If only BIKE magazine could see this...you would surly see some epic pictures. I hope to get a helmet cam soon so that I can show everyone what they are missing. Other than that I had a great training ride and after lunch I am going back out to the Smith Lake race course to do a few more laps. PEACE!
