Sunday was and excellent day for racing...probably because I placed 2nd and for the first time I raced in the expert class. Good stuff...it was a rigorous 27.3 miles of single track. I finished off an entire camelback and water bottle full of fluids, and somehow my legs were still cramping with only a few miles to go. I am not sure if I have ever pushed myself this hard in a MTB race. I am also usually nervous but for some reason wasn't at all in this one. I guess after racing this ridiculously long season I am used to it. The picture was taken by my wife at one of the more technical rock piles on the trail...pretty tricky spot. That's it for now, I will post the race site when all is up. PEACE!!!
