The weather here is outstanding...it just stopped raining and it is in the 60's. This Sat. & Sun. it will be in the mid 60's and no chance of precipitation. That being said...it will be a great training weekend. So far I have almost 20 miles of running in and a little less riding due to running, however I feel really strong and finally have my running legs back. I will probably do 1 or 2 really long rides this weekend and maybe make one a brick session. I haven't had a day off of working out for about 12 days so Monday will be my down day. Some times I get carried away and forget to take breaks but I think it will be easy since I am off of work Monday:)
I suspect I will be receiving my GU/ZOOT gear soon and that will be exciting since my first race is right around the corner. I have yet to do an endurance MTB race solo so it will be something to experience and may open my eyes for future events...I hope. I really think it is something I can excel in and I guess we shall see. As for now I need to study, eat, and ride...PEACE!
