The "Official" results are in...I guess my impatience really got the best of me at this race. I actually placed 2nd in my AG instead of the 5th that I thought. The reason is that the officials had some errors with categorizing people in the right age group. This is good news for me because now I have accumulated more points. Even though I had done better than originally thought I still have important work to do. I know that I am faster and tend to conserve a little too much during the race. I want to be that guy that collapses at the finish line knowing that I have expended every ounce of energy on the race course. OK, maybe not collapse because thats not right either, but you get it.
Anyway, I am resting up doing very low impact workouts for yet another race this weekend. URE...here I come. It looks like its going to be sloppy too. We received a lot of rain last night and are expected to get rain the two days leading up to the race. What can you do...this is XTERRA and unless there is a natural disaster...we will probably have the race. I Love it! More later...PEACE!
