San-Lee Trails

Yesterday was an excellent day for MTBing in Sanford, NC. I headed up to the trail to get the full technical experience of riding, and thats what it dished out. This course seems unpredictable every time I ride it. Its loaded with rocks, roots, switchbacks, and stream crossings. I took a buddy of mine up there to try it for his first time and I think he had a good time even with a few spills. Check out the picture of what happens when the end of his bar hit him in the stomach...ouch! Anyway, after playing in the woods that morning I wanted to get in another long road ride for the day since my left foot is healing up from over-training due to my longer runs. I think I went overboard on my running but know its also one of the faster ways to boost my fitness level. Since riding doesn't bother it then thats what I have to do. The countdown to Regionals is getting close and I look forward to the next two weeks while I train it up. PEACE!!!
