Training Update 2/2/2009

Today was a good day of hard training. I started the morning off with a 30 minute warm-up on an eliptical machine prior to hitting the weights. I did a leg routine that almost had me puking my guts out. Ive heard thats the way to do it:) After that I did about 20 minutes of abs and then it was back home to start recovering. I drank down a mixture of FLUID and GU2O, not bad really. I wanted to get hydrated and healed up for my next workout. About two hrs after that I heard about a spin class goinbg on at the gym, and since Ive never attended on I thought Id give it a shot. I ended up getting there an hour before the class so I decided to do my own thing on the bike up until the class. My ride was pretty steady with about 5 5minute hard pick ups...I felt pretty good as I was still hydrating with some GU2O & sucking down a couple GU packs...When the rest of the class showed up I just did what the instructor did and it was a solid hour of some intenese cycling. Pretty fun actually. I learned several different ways to ride on a spin bike thats for sure. After that I did about 30 minutes of stretching and realaxing. Thats it for now, PEACE!
