LOOOOONG Training
Well, I dont remember training the distances I have been lately...especially the running. I have been hitting close to 40 miles a week. My plan is to have the best cardio engine I can before hitting up any real speed work. I have also been hitting the weight room everyday doing tons of strength training. I make my long run days a first priority and then immediately followed by strength trng. Just the opposite on my recovery run days/shorter distance days. I hit the weights really hard and then a nice slow recovery run followed by almost a half an hr. of stretching. Since I have been really making sure I stretch I have been feeling a ton better for my next workouts. I am looking forward to see what holds for me this season. I have some obstacles to face...a thing called work, which sucks up all of my time, but I am sure I can handle it. I have had worse to deal with. Thanks for tuning in...LATER!
