A Little Break

Just wanted to let everone know that I have taken a 3 day break from training due to a strain in my leg. I guess I put too many miles in running this past week and if I dont ease up I will be injuring myself even worse. I had 50 miles in for the week and was actually feeling great until I went to go take a shower and I felt my achiles tendon pulling a bit. Its not torn, just over worked. I am feeling better now and will ease back into it here the next few days while focusing more on the bike and swim. I was getting carried away with my runners high. I dont think I had even run as much as I do now from when I was training for this marathon I did a few years back. Honestly, if I didnt have a job I would be rediculous in this sport...so I think. I am so obsessed with it, I would have no problem having the dicipline to workout 8 hrs a day...seriously. Mountain biking, trail running and swimming are freaking awsome... Its never boring even if I ride the same trail over a hundred times(and I have)...It changes so much everytime you push it or when mother nature has her way with it. Thats it for now, I am going to enjoy a book by the pool for a bit while hydrating it up for a good ride then swim...

PS...If someone out there wants to pay me to race full time feel free to offer up...HAH! Like that would happen anyway. I'll still do it because I love it anyway. LATER!!!
