Crazieness

Well, last night I was frustated at work so I took it out during my run. I ran 13 miles last night in just over 1hr 30. I dont think I have ever run that distance at that speed. So far my training this week is somewhat of a recovery but then next week I am going to try and add some more workouts. Its difficult with the long hours I am working but if I want to be better this year I need to get it in. I have really started later this season and focused a lot on strength trainig vs. cardio early on. However, I see that there is a significant improvement in my cardio this year already. It may be do with me doing this sport for an upcoming 5th season. The time has definitely flown by, but not in a bad way. I have met some wonderful people in the sport and have hopefully influnced many to get involved with it as well. Its exciting to see others achieve their goals along the way while I am out there doing the same. I have approximately 10 weeks before my first race so its crunch time for sure. Lots of speed work coming up and focus in the water. Thanks for tuning in...
