Training Update
Things are going well on this end...I have noticed with my new approach on strength training with my legs it is very difficult to maintain leg speed during this first week. There is just toomuch stress put on them to continue the abuse I am giving myself. I may just do this one more week before starting in on my usual pre-season training but keeping some of the strength training. Balancing these extra workouts with work is very difficult. I went for a quick 3 mile run this morning just to loosen up so I could stretch my lower extremities. I plan on hitting the weight room tonight and then everyday until Friday. I have noticed that I am progressively getting stronger each day. As crazy as that may sound its true. I have increased the amount of weight I am pushing by double. Thanks for tuning in...more later.
