Well, it may seem like we are in the middle of the season as for the amount of races that have taken place but that's far from the truth. The season of XTERRA is very long and I cant wait to start. Work has left me no choice as to which races I will be able to do, but I am certain to hit the last two XTERRA's in TX. I also hope to race the Mountain Cup in CO this year. I have a feeling it will be as difficult as Tahoe normally is, or even worse. Either way...BRING THE PAIN! I also realize that I am going to have to get much more bike time when I get back from this work related trip. Lots of hill repeats on the local mountain (if you can even call it that). I am planning on hitting up several mountain bike races which seems to always be in season. It usually never has an off season. Thats what I love about it. You can race all year if you want. Other challenges this season...I am going to be a father:) Yeah! I am truly excited and cannot wait. If the Pro's can manage it, then I can too. Not saying I am anywhere that level, but the combination of work, training, fatherhood, and possibly more school might be just as hectic. It will be non-stop.
