Well, I had a very interesting race. It started out pretty fun and a way to promote GU during the pre-registration...which helped with the pre-race jitters. Then, it was go time. To make a long story short I crashed due to a collision 10 seconds into the race and received some road rash on my bottom, A LOT of road rash. The adrenalin kicked in and I immediately jumped on my bike. The only problem was that my derailleur was embedded into my spokes. I pulled it out and got it functional enough to catch everyone in my age group and take the win. Awesome, but I will have to take a few days off.
