Well, the answer is....not really exactly. After my 13.1 mile training run today I went over my route with another calibrated device "The Ruckus". Anyway, realistically it isn't that big of a difference but it is a bit off. I had run .5 miles extra than what I planned. Not always a bad thing though but when keeping track of miles it may cause you to do more for obvious reasons. I have calibrated the Nike+ more than once and I think it is a close as it will get...on another note, maybe I will get that new Triathlon specific Garmin for Christmas;) This would eliminate several of my devices.
In relation to my previous post, I installed my new clutch plates in the ol' Superfly. Two words...very nice. It is a must do especially when riding a 29er. You can tell a huge difference when getting on the gas after cornering or just a regular stall or track stand before maneuvering over an obstacle. Hopefully this will save me seconds and win me some more podium finishes. Speaking of finishes...I hope to complete the Mountain Bike Marathon at Camp Eagle this weekend. It should be a great race, and with 42 miles of well groomed trail who could complain. That's it for know, I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!
