Winter Maintenance

Well, wear and tear has forced some upgrades on my Gar Fisher Superfly... I am going to rebuild the rear hub with a better clutch as well as replace the seals in my Fox fork. The stock fork never had the complete travel of 80mm so I think its time to get what I paid for. The replacement parts are going to actually be better than the stock ones. I will post pictures and links of how to do these mods once I am done. It should be a nice ride. As for the tear...my derailleur hanger is still messed up from my last MTB race, so I need to get that fixed before it completely fails. Also, some new tread on my wheels will be nice since my tires are shredded and riddled with plugs. I have had to plug my tires so many times since Ive lived in TX it is getting old. The flint stone and cactus are my tires worst enemy, and the heat dries up STANS sealant faster than normal too. Damn this place! I miss the supple earth of the east coast beneath my wheels...there is nice dirt there, hmmmmmmm, nice dirt.
